Wyn Thomas

Wyn has been presenting and producing for over thirty years on various radio stations including the BBC and Swansea Sound and bring to Radio Tircoed a unique style of broadcasting. During this period, a extremely large number of interviews have been conducted. Wyn started his career on Radio Freeway (Morriston Hospital Radio) and presented a weekly show for over twenty years. Also during those years he presented and produced a variety of programmes for Swansea Sound.
In 2004 Wyn started making contributions to BBC Radio Wales and from January to February 2005 was the voice of the morning show on a trial bid radio station called Swansea Local Radio.
In 2007 Wyn started an arts based programme called Voltz Arts on the internet radio station, thevoltsshow.com. which developed a Worldwide following.
Wyn's had a notable exclusive achievment was at the Voices of a Nation Concert 1999 (Opening of the Welsh Assembly) in being the only interviewer (except the BBC) backstage were he interviewed many well known Welsh personalities.
On television in 1988 Wyn helped launch Morrivision, Wales' first hospital cable television services, and became its senior presenter. He has also worked on various programmes for ITV1 Wales.
Wyn now presents and produces Drive which includes the acclaimed interview slot the After 5 Guest, features and a variety of music.
