Janet Francis-Jones

 Hello there. I am Janet Francis-Jones and I present Afternoon Delights on a Tuesday afternoon between 1 - 4pm. I have been a part of the Radio Tircoed team since April 2016 when I trained alongside Mike Lewis and worked on the morning show with him until I secured my own slot in November of that year. I was warmly welcomed by everyone and, as a complete rookie to radio presenting, received great training and a warm welcome. Fortunately, as I love to talk, I have settled down and am feeling very much at home behind the mic! It also helps that I love music of all kinds and that is apparent on my show as I play songs from across the decades and from a variety of genres. I often invite guests in for a chat, discuss music and songs, books, television and anything that is in the news that week. I live in Neath, am a retired headteacher and have one son. We are both F1 fans and love to travel. So, every Tuesday afternoon why not turn up the volume, kick back, relax and let the music fill your soul.
